MONETA Money Bank (MMB) provides retail and small and medium size enterprise focused banking and financial services in the Czech Republic. The company operates through commercial clients, retail clients, and other treasury segments. It offers various deposit products, including current accounts, savings accounts, term deposits, and transnational banking products to retail and commercial customers.

In 2017, Moneta embraced a new 4 year digital transformation strategy to help the bank become more competitive and be a digital champion focused on credit distribution to Czech households and small businesses, rapidly building market-leading digital capabilities to defend and expand their retail and small business franchise.

One key aspect of this digitisation is the implementation of a new integration platform (IP), which is aimed at enhancing open banking capabilities to join new financial ecosystems and increase availability of Moneta products. This will enable Moneta to be more competitive and compliant with new European open banking regulations.

MMB has partnered with Mitra to deliver a new banking Integration Platform (IP) using the WSO2 product stack to overcome current pain points and to enable open standards for service consumers, service providers and the integration platform itself. As a part of the new integration platform, Mitra will be rolling out an ESB, API Manager, Service Registry and Governance products.
